Hi, My name is Brian Lisella.
My interest in waterfowl came at an early age. When I was young, I was lucky enough to go camping with my family, up and down the east coast. Usually near the New Jersey shores, and near the Chesapeake Bay. I always had an interest in watching the birds with binoculars I bought as a youngster at a yard sale.
The interest and knowledge grew over the years, from watching waterfowl, and hunting with experienced friends. Whether it be walking in creeks and jumpshooting mallards, and woodies,or laying in corn fields, for the giant canadas. Even hunting out of a boat blind in the bays of NJ and Michigan.
I just love to be out there hunting and watching waterfowl. Waterfowling is a great sport to enjoy and I have met some very good friends through this. If you are just getting into the sport it won't take long for your love for it to grow either.
The love of this sport and waterfowl got me started carving my own decorative decoys that are on display in our home, and turning out quality duck calls to bring home the real ones.
The sound of my calls will bring them into your decoys, and for those who can't call, they look good enough to put on your mantle. (For you Mike)
